Active Power Reports First Time Quarterly Profits in 18 Years
Active power manufacturer of Flywheel UPS systems , reports net profit of $ 55,000 in the third
quarter of 2010, which is the first quarterly net profit in its 18-year history and the highest ever
quarterly revenue $ 18.5 million, as well as $ 45.6 million revenue for the first 9 month of fiscal
year, which is the highest revenue ever for the period ever. It shipped during the third quarter 97

Emerson Network Power, a business of Emerson, announces that its Chloride Trinergy™ UPS
was added to the Carbon Trust’s Energy Technology Product List (ETPL). The list registers
products that, under the Enhanced Capital Allowance (ECA) scheme, allows businesses to write

Active Power Inc, manufacturer of Flywheel UPS systems has received its fourth multimillion
dollar order from an Internet search engine provider for its CleanSource UPS systems.
Equipment will begin shipping in late 2010 with final shipment and installation to take place in early
2011.The Company reported that this is the fourth order from this customer during the last three
years, and upon its installation Active Power will have deployed more than 36 megawatts

Eaton introduces a new Blade Pre-assembled UPS system designed to growing data centers, which
can be ordered with two to six BladeUPS units installed to provide the necessary level of power

protection from 12 to 60 kW in a single 19-inch rack. According to Eaton saving of up to seven
