Emerson Reports Full Year and Fifth Quarter Financial Results. Emerson reports Full Year ended September 2011 sales of 24,222 B. USD and Net profit 2,480 B.USD, Both 15% above Last Year. Network Power’s global UPS and precision cooling sales grew in 2011 by 9.8% to 1.843 B. USD, whereas Earnings dropped by 2.75% to 248 Million USD. Network Power Segment Asia sales grew 6 percent and Europe was up 5 percent, while Latin America and the Middle East/Africa saw more robust growth at 24 percent and 27 percent, respectively. U.S. sales declined by 5 percent, due to weakness in the telecommunications-related energy systems business. Network Power Segment earning decline is primarily attributable to intangibles amortization, China labor-related costs and unfavorable product mix.
