Chloride Trinergy UPS provides 99% efficiency, up to 1.2Megawatt.
Chloride launches its new Trinergy UPS system designed for data centers with a claimed maximum
efficiency of up to 99 percent. The system comprises three phase 200KVA/200kW 400V UPS
modules that can be paralleled for scaling or redundancy up to total system of 1.2Megawatt. The
modules are able to work either in Eco mode with 99% efficiency, in Dual Conversion mode with
95% efficiency, or in Active filter mode with 96 to 98% efficiency. In addition, partial redundancy
enables increased efficiency at light loads, by automatic turning off parallel UPS's modules, not

Falcon introduces UPS with 10 Year UPS batteries, for High Temperature Environment.
Falcon UPS announces 10 year batteries available in its 1.5 to 3kVA SSG UPS Series. The batteries
enable Falcon to offer UPS systems with 55°C (131°F) UL listing for operating at high temperatures.
This UPS line targets environments that typically exceed 40°C, like a factory floor, a desert setting
or any computer rack, the batteries are rated to last at least twice the service life of standard five-

Riello's calculator displays energy consumption and savings versus competition.
Riello launches an online calculator which displays how Riello UPS performs in terms of difference
in Power Consumption; Annual Energy Savings in kWh; Annual Cost Savings; and Pollutant
emission reductions in Kg CO2. As an example, the calculator quickly works-out that a 100kVA
MultiPlus MLT, running 24hrs a day, 365 days a year, carrying 75% load, would save an installation

Eaton Enables 99% High Power UPS efficiency Without Compromising Reliability
Eaton's offers Energy Saver System option for Eaton 9395 and 9390 UPSs, that enable large, three-
phase uninterruptible power systems (UPSs) to operate at 99 percent without sacrificing reliability.
Depending on the conditions, the Energy Saver System can operate the UPS in high efficiency mode
or standard, double-conversion, high alert, or storm detection mode to provide flexible, user-
controlled functionality on-demand. It detects changes in power conditions and transits to the
appropriate mode faster and more reliably than conventional "eco-mode" UPS products. Existing 9395
